El Castell de Guadalest is an hour's drive away; a medieval village located in a green mountainous area with pines, orange and lemon trees, almond trees, olive trees and loquat.
After admiring the beautiful views of the reservoir, it is certainly worthwhile to visit the castle.

After half an hour's drive you will arrive in the picturesque village of Altea. With its Casco antiguo de Altea, or the old town, its small alleys and its beautiful views, Altea is a must. Once at the top after a long climb, you will be rewarded with the blue domes of the Església de la Mare de Déu del Consol d'Altea where you can enjoy a well-deserved drink on one of the many terraces.

Calpe, with its old town, is a pleasant seaside resort on the Costa Blanca with a large sandy beach and surrounded by a beautiful mountain landscape. The main attraction of Calpe is the huge rock (Penon de Ijah). Climbing the rock is a must for those who are more adventurous. The climb is rewarded with a beautiful view! Numerous hiking trails have also been laid out for those who prefer to take it a bit quieter.
